Breakfast in 5 Minutes?
Because I work out in the mornings before work, I really do not have the time to cook a have a huge breakfast every morning. Fueling the body within 30 minutes of completing your workout is essential so if you are tight on time, here's a really quick an easy version of scrambled eggs to get you going...
Eggs x 2
Salt - Just a teeny tiny pinch
Pepper - To taste
Milk - A little dash
Butter - about 1/4 teaspoon
- Heat a frying pan on the stove.
- Whisk together the eggs, salt, pepper and milk.
- Add the butter to the heated pan, once the butter starts melting(do not allow butter to burn), add your whisked egg mixture to the pan. Stir every 30 seconds until you reach your desired consistency, some people prefer their scrambled eggs a bit runny, i personally like the eggs solid but moist.
I usually follow this up with half an avocado or banana just before i run out the door!
